How to improve your energy levels & boost your mood naturally

       What are cells?

In simple terms, cells are our body’s building blocks, our foundations if you will. If you imagine the foundations of a building, if they are not properly maintained the building will become unsteady & start to crumble.

Now we’ve all heard of the following phrases:

Positive mental attitude / PMA

Surround yourself with positive thoughts

Positivity attracts positivity

Well it’s true positivity does attract & breed positivity & not just metaphorically speaking …

The cells in your body do a very important job, your cells are responsible for carrying oxygen to your organs …. The oxygen carried within the cells help to transport nutrients from your surroundings & from the food that you eat to where they are required within your body.

Cells that are fully oxygenated are positively charged cells, they are fast moving & full of energy.. Each cell that they come into contact then becomes positively charged & also becomes full of energy & fast moving.

This has a positive effect on not just your body but also your mood, if your cells are positively charged & full of energy they oxygenate your blood & pass vital nutrients into your system at a fast rate which ensures that your body is working at its optimum.

CELLS CARRY OXYGEN WHICH = ENERGY

Now we also have negatively charged cells within our body, these cells are slow moving & lack in energy.

WE DON’T LIKE THESE CELLS THEY ZAP YOUR BODY OF ENERGY, WHICH IN TURN MAKES YOUR BODY HAVE TO WORK HARDER

The reason we have these negatively charged cells is also due to our surroundings & our lifestyles. Our cells become negatively charged when our body is attacked by Free radicals also known as  TOXINS  …. These toxins can occur from our surroundings in pollution & our lifestyles, we often ingest free radicals / toxins in our diet ….

  • Caffeine (tea, coffee, fizzy drinks, chocolate all contain caffeine)
  • Alcohol
  • If we smoke
  • If we eat a lot of saturated fats
  • If we chose to eat processed foods

These free radicals attack our positively charged cells & turn them into negatively charged slow moving cells with very little energy.

Now just as positivity attracts positivity, negativity also attracts negativity …..

Cells with little energy carry very small amounts of oxygen & therefore make us feel:

  • Tired
  • Bloated
  • Lethargic
  • Dull
  • They give us a low mood
  • They make our bodies work HARDER

IF YOUR BODY IS OVERLOADED WITH FREE RADICALS / TOXINS WHICH EQUAL NEGATIVELY CHARGED CELLS IT IS NOT WORKING AT ITS OPTIMUM & WILL RESULT IN LITTLE / NO ENERGY & A VERY LOW MOOD.

How do we combat negatively charged cells?

The first step to combat negatively charged cells is to start to BE GOOD TO YOURSELF

how can we do that?

The human body is made up of 60 – 65% water, we should drink 1 litre of water for every 50lb of body weight in order for your body to be properly hydrated … if you ever feel thirsty then your body is already dehydrated & lacking in water.

Why drink water? Well at the start of this article I said that cells carry oxygen to your organs, the oxygen carries nutrients to where they are required.

Well, the chemical formula for water is:

H20 this means that water has 1 hydrogen bond & 2 oxygen bonds … when ingested our body quickly breaks down the hydrogen bond & the oxygen molecules are quickly absorbed by our body’s cells & used as energy to carry oxygen & nutrients to your vital organs. And there we are, on our way to creating positively charged fast moving cells of energy.

Secondly, we can move around more & exercise, the more we move the more these positively charged cells bounce around your body, bouncing into each other & passing on their energy & positive charge … whether it is walking the dog, having a little dance to your favourite songs in the dining room, going to the gym, doing Zumba make sure you get up a get active … positivity breeds positivity.

Next we can help ourselves to irradiate those nasty free radicals / toxins from our bodies … we don’t want those negatively charged slow moving cells taking over & zapping our energy so:

    • You can reduce the amount of caffeine you drink
    • Reduce / cut out alcohol
    • Increase the amount of green vegetables that you eat / drink greens juices …. These are full of antioxidants & help to rid your body of free radicals / toxins (negatively charged cells)
    • Water also helps this process so increase your water intake
    • Cut out or minimise processed foods
    • Do a detox programme
    • You could even have a colonic irrigation

The last step is to do something with your time that you enjoy, a positive body = a positive mind & vice versa …

Do something that makes you BE GOOD TO YOURSELF

  • Meditate
  • Do yoga
  • Read a book
  • Go for a facial
  • Take up hobby / study something that takes your interest
  • Power walk

Whatever it is that you choose to do, ensure that it is something that makes you feel happy.

We only get one body, let’s make sure that we help it to work at its optimum, raise its energy levels & most importantly feel good about it.
